Valery Sindjalim

Valery Agnima SINDJALIM is the Partner in charge of VAS Consulting in Togo. Specialists for tax law and corporate law. Valery holds a DESS university degree in Companies Law from the University of Ouagadougou (Burkina - Faso). He is a qualified expert on Togo taxes.

Valery has over 15 years of professional experience in advising national and multinational companies on tax and legal issues in Grant Thornton firm where he specialised in Togolese business law with strong knowledge in Energy, Utilities and Mining industries. He participated as tax and legal advisor in several tax and legal jobs for various companies.
Valery has provided advice to several multinational companies during start-up operations, acquisition of other companies and reorganizations in the sub Saharan Francophone Africa region. Valery provides tax advice to companies on their tax obligations and ensures continuous or specific tax assistance of the aforesaid companies at all stages of their existence. He has assisted companies in tax matters such as tax diagnosis, assistance regarding government tax audits (controls and tax disputes) and tax consultation, among others. He has vast experience in tax compliance, tax advisory, payroll tax administration, employee tax planning and in lobbying and negotiation meetings with the tax and regulatory authorities. In addition he has work in multinational companies as Regional Tax Manager in charge of Africa Countries.

Eli-Eli C. N’SOUKPOE

Eli-Eli is a Lawyer and Managing Partner of ELI & PIERRE, a Law Firm in Togo and Legal advisor at VAS CONSULTING. Have a Paris Business School MBA in Business Law & Management, hold a Master's degree in Business Law from the Université de Lomé.

. He started his career in 2004 with an admission to the Togo Bar Association. While practicing business law for almost 15 years as Legal Counsel and in Litigation, he tried to keeping on continual education in order to offer a better quality of Business Law services to a broader, national and international clients. He completed a specialization in Banking and Financial Products Law (Université Toulouse 1 Capitole) and obtained a Diploma in International and Domestic Arbitration Law (Université de Montpellier).
From 2009 to 2015, he worked at one of the leading Law firm in Togo and in 2016 as international business lawyer with a Law Firm in Paris where he participated in many due diligence missions relating to merger & acquisitions for multinational companies in MEA, Rwanda, Nigeria, and Benin. Recently, he has provided advice to a consortium composed of a major Malagasy operator in the Indian Ocean region and an international investment fund in the context of the acquisition of the first telecom operator in Togo in the areas of Corporate Law, Telecommunications Law, Competition Law, Intellectual Property Law, Arbitration Law, Investment Law, Public International Law and Public Procurement Law.

He is a holder of a special foreign legal advisor permit from the Barreau du Québec and so authorized to give legal advice and consultations on legal matters involving the OHADA business law and give legal advice and consultations on legal matters involving public international law in Québec.

After obtaining his bachelor's degree in G2 (Accounting), ATAKORA E. Jules began his graduate studies and took several courses sanctioned by adequate degrees. Graduated from the University of Lomé (UL), option "Master of Business Management Sciences" in 1997; in 2005, he obtained a Certificate from the Intensive English Level III Program of CESAG, Dakar - SENEGAL. Mr ATAKORA got a Master's degree II in Audit - Management Control of the African Institute of Administration and Commercial Studies.

Continuing his momentum, Jules E. ATAKORA has various professional trainings including:
- Training in Tunis (Tunisia) with Grant Thornton Africa Summer University, on audit, leadership and due diligence missions

Almost 23 years of professional experience

Jules Atakora has held several senior positions in his professional career in Togo and abroad. From 1997 to 1999, he was an auditor at Consult Services, a partner of Afric Search International in Togo. From 1999 to 2001, Chief Accountant at United Transport Africa - Togo (road transport company to hinterland countries), member of the WHITE EAGLE HOLDING Luxembourg group. He was an Auditor at CKA Audit - Consulting (current Grant Thornton Togo) from 2001 to 2009. From September 2009 to March 2011, he was Chief Financial Officer of the airports of Lomé and Niamtougou (SALT). Consultant with Contour Global Togo SA (SAP software installation work, HR support, capital inventory assistance, reporting assistance, etc.) from 2009-2011.

From April 2011 to March 2015, he was Chief Financial Officer and Sole Accountant of the Organization for Harmonization in Africa business law (OHADA) at its headquarters in Yaounde (Cameroon).

On July 1, 2015, he took over the firm Grant Thornthon Togo S.A as Head of the Audit and Accounting Department (at the rank of senior manager) cumulatively with the position of Chief Financial Officer of the firm, until August 2018 when he became Associate-Technical Director of the firm HOUNGS & PARTNERS CONSULTING TOGO SARL (member firm of ONECCA TOGO). He is a Consultant/Director at VAS Consulting Togo.
