Biography

Eli-Eli is a Managing Partner at VAS CONSULTING and Managing Partner of ELI & PIERRE law firm in Togo. He holds an MBA from the Paris Business School in Business Law and Management as well as a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Lomé.  He began his career in 2004 with an admission to the Togo Bar Association. While practicing business law for nearly 15 years as a legal advisor and in litigation, he has endeavored to pursue his continuing education in order to provide a better quality of business law services to a wider national and international clientele. He completed a specialization in banking and financial products law (Toulouse 1 Capitole University) and obtained a degree in international and domestic arbitration law (Montpellier University).

From 2009 to 2015, he worked in one of the leading law firms in Togo and in 2016 as an international business lawyer in a law firm in Paris where he participated in numerous due diligence assignments related to mergers and acquisitions for multinational companies in MEA, Rwanda, Nigeria and Benin. Recently, he advised a consortium composed of a major Malagasy operator in the Indian Ocean region and an international investment fund in the acquisition of the leading telecommunications operator in Togo in the areas of corporate law, telecommunications law, competition law, intellectual property law, arbitration law, investment law, public international law and public procurement law.

He holds a special permit as a foreign legal counsel from the Quebec Bar and is thus authorized to give legal advice and consultations on legal matters relating to OHADA business law and to give legal advice and consultations on legal matters relating to public international law in Quebec.
